· PLYMOUTH & SOUTH HAMS BRANCH was born at a public meeting organised by HQ in August 2001. A committee was formed and a fair was organised at the Guildhall to launch the branch in November 2001.

· We started out with 3 fosterers with outside pens and now have several indoor foster carers and a further two outdoor foster pens.

· The group of members has grown over the last decade and we now have many volunteers who help with fundraising, fostering, welfare, re-homing and other tasks.

· We are always looking for additional volunteers, as sadly volunteers come and go.

· We’d love to find more fundraisers and foster carers, although we have something for everyone, so please contact us if you have a little time you can spare.
